Death* 1332 Battle of Dupplin, In this battle forces supporting David II, the 7-year-old son of Robert I (the Bruce) of Scotland against Edward Balliol, son of King John. Edward Balliol was victorious, David II was sent to France for his safety. However, Balliol was driven from Scotland in a matter of months.1
