| Source* | | Source(s): "Anna Loew's parentage is proved by a document dated May 16, 1663, in which Stephen Brumbach of Osthelden and Johnnes Kempfer (Kemper) of Musen, sons-in-law of Johannes Loew of Osthelden and his present wife Christine, in the names of their respective wives. Catharine (Loew) Brumbach and Anna (Loew) Kemper renounced their rights of inheritance from their mother. Johannes Loew was married twice; his first wife (name unknown) was buried on March 26, 1634; he married second wife, Christine, (daughter of Henrich Scheffhen, deceased), in the same year (banns November 10, 1634; Christine (Scheffhen) Loew was the mother of Anna (Loew) Kemper, by whom he had six children. Johannes Lowe and his wife, Christine (Scheffhen) Loew, both died in 1669. Christine was buried on February 7, 1669, and Johannes Loew was buried on September 7, 1669."1 |
