Residence*1817 Nathan Roberts (2nd) lived in 1817: Moved from Lancaster Co PA to Mercer Co PA (near Greenville). Nathan (1st) went to Mercer Co PA in 1815, so when Nathan (2nd) went there in 1817 it was probably to be near father. 
Marriage*circa 1836 He married Margaret Gwinn Patterson, daughter of (__________) Patterson and (__________) (__________), circa 1836. 
Census18501850 Nathan Roberts (2nd) appeared on the 1850 census as the head of household, Salem, Mercer Co., Pennsylvania, (Evd 233). Next door are 3 families of Roberts who could be nephews. 
Residence1853 He lived in 1853: Moved w/ unmarried kids to Henry Co IL.

Will*20 August 1873 He left a will on 20 August 1873 at Henry Co., Illinois; His will was dated 20 Aug 1873 (Evd 256). He left $1 each to sons John K, Joseph, Enoch, Benjamin, Nathan K, Henry H, David A, and Obed, and left $50 to son Josiah. He also left $1 each to daughters Leah Frits, Ann Menold, and Susan Weston. Some of those dollars were paid to the county clerk instead of the person (last page of Evd 246). NEED TO FIND OUT WHY. See if there was a further probate

Note* He Correspondant Barbara Anderson, 70 Pine Ridge Way, Portola Valley CA 94028 poses the following questions regarding Nathan (2nd):
In regard to Nathan (2nd), we do not know when he left the family home in Frankfort. How did he end up in Columbia, Lancaster, PA? In 1812 he would have been 19 years old and just the right age for the war of 1812. I found a book listing those from PA that fought in the war, however the index covered only the officers and I didn't have time to go through it page by page. I'll be looking into this in Salt Lake. Mercer Co PA was a bounty land area. In 1851 the government gave the 1812 vets bounty land in our area of Illinois. In 1852 Nathan (2nd) goes to IL to look it over and 1853 he moves. He needed land. What ideas have you come up with for this period of time?
