He was waiting for a lumber team when stricken with apoplexy of the heart. Relief was summoned by several neighboring women, but he died in five minutes. He was 61 years old and is survivied by his wife and five children, Sylvester, Preston, Maggie, and Mrs Louis Sheirer of Northampton, and Mrs Scheetz, of Treichlers. Three bothers and two sisters also survive, Amandes, of Northampton; Tilghman and Cyrus, of Chicago; Mrs Peter Bush, of Bushkill Center, and Mrs James Hanlon, of White Haven. Mr Young was a very substantial and highly respected citizen. Funeral Friday morning with interment at Howertown.2  |
