Deed*23 March 1846  On 23 March 1846 Thomas Stone sold land to Richard Lawson at Boone Co., Missouri, Book P pg 176 - $100 for NW 1/4 SW 1/4 Sec 1 Twn 49 Rng 13 (82.5 acres)
This indenture made and entered into this the twenty third of March 1846 between Thomas Stone of the county of Boone and Sate of Missouri of the one part and Richard Lawson also of said County and State of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Stone for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Lawson the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged has granted and sold and does of these presents grant bargain and sell unto said Lawson his heirs to one certain tract of land lying & situate in the County of Boone aforesaid designated as follows to wit the North West Quarter of the South West Quarter of Section One in Township Forty Nine Range Thirteen containing forty acres to have and to hold the same with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to the land the said Stone does by these presents bind himself his heirs & to warrent and defend the title of the land hereby confveyed to the said Lawson, his heirs & against the claijm or claims of every and all persons whatsoever either in law or equity. In testimony whereof the said Stone has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year afore written.
