Obituary | Her obituary was Obit (from scrapbook, no paper name or date). Very solemn and impressive funeral services were held over the remains of Mrs Mary Myer Gmeiner, mother of Mrs William F Millstein of Third Street, Beaver at 2116 Tuskin Street Pittsburg, the home of her daughter, Mrs Harry Kelley, yesterday morning. The Rev Appleton Bash of the Sewickly Methodist Episcopal church, and the Rev Vose pastor of the German Protestant Evangelical church of Pittsburg, of which the deceased had been a life long member, spoke in touching terms of the life of the deceased. She was beloved and respected by all who knew her. The quartette from the German Protestant Evangelical church sang "Nearer, My God, to Thee" and "Crossing the Bar" beautifully. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Interment was made in the Oakland cememtery, the deceased's three sons-in-law and nephews, acting as pall bearers. |
