Birth*1809 John Cardione Sapp was born in 1809 at Kentucky age 41 born KY per 1850 census, age 50 in 1860. 
Marriage*20 September 1827 He married Elizabeth Crump on 20 September 1827 at Book A pg 41, Boone Co., Missouri, printed book mistakenly has him as Gordon - probably a corruption of Cardione.2 
Deed*16 September 1828  On 16 September 1828 John Cardione Sapp bought land from Matthew Sapp at Deed book G pg 206, W 1/2 SW 1/4 Sec 22 Twn 46 Rng 12, Boone Co., Missouri, 80 acres for $1 and natural love and affection (SLC 909103). Matthew specifically calls John C Sapp his son, and says that he got the land 10 May 1826 as Patent 1793 recorded in the land office at Washington City in v.4 pg 314. Elizabeth did not sign dower, so she must be deceased. 
Census1830*1830 John Cardione Sapp was the head of the household in the 1830 census, pg 129, Cedar, Boone Co., Missouri, with 1m30-40 (John C) 1f0-5 (Clarinda) 1f20-30 (Elizabeth). 
Census1850*1 June 1850 He appeared on the 1850 census as the head of household, Boone Co., Kentucky, age 41 born KY, with wife & kids. 
Census1860*1 June 1860 He appeared on the 1860 census as the head of household, Boone Co., Missouri, age 50 born KY, with wife and children, also a David C Nichols age 18 (related?) 
Census1870*1870 He appeared on the 1870 census as the head of household, pg 61 #553-194, Cedar Twnshp, Boone Co., Missouri, Sapp, John 61 b.KY farmer $800 $350.
