Birth*1795 Sarah Sale was born in 1795 at North Carolina. 
Marriage*21 February 1811 She married Elias Sale, son of Cornelius Sale and Sarah Parks, on 21 February 1811 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina, Date is bond, Bondsman Henry Martin, witness R. Martin, Clk.
Natives of North Carolina, of Welsh and English ancestry, but of American parentage and Southern born. Elias Sayles was a farmer by occupation, and after his marriage in NC removed first to Nashville TN, thence to Southern IL, afterward to Howard Co MO, whence they returned in 1830, to the Prairie state and located in Sangamon County. The father subsequently went to the lead mines near Dubuque IA, and died there 20 Jan 1835. The mother, with her children came into McLean Co and settled in Bloomington Twnshp. The parental family consisted of nine children, all of whom except Mrs O. of this notice have been dead for more than 20 years. the mother, in about May 1844 went to IA and died there in Aug 1853.1,2 
(Heir) IntestateHeirs13 September 1834 Was on the list of heirs in the probate of James Sale on 13 September 1834 at Sangamon Co., Illinois, "Sally Sayles widow of Elias Sayles dec'd." 
Death*August 1853 Sarah Sale died in August 1853 at Iowa.
