| Note* | Dorothy Elizabeth Norton Per Claydon Thesis: Her father's occupation was listed as victualler (licensee of public house) in the Old Records Baptism Index pre 1856. She was very close to her mother and lived at home until she ws 43 years old. She owned a shop (perhaps hat) that she closed in 1859. Buried in the Independent Old Ground at Rookwood Cemetery. Left her estate in trust for her two step children. Jesse 75% and Andrew 25%. Her sister Dorcas Barker and her many nieces and nephews all received varying bequests of money. | |
