Obituary29 April 1962 His obituary was on 29 April 1962 at Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Ft Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana, John W. Phibee, 78, of 127 1/2 E. Main St., died at 12:05 p.m. yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital, following an illness of a year. Born in Creston, Iowa, Mr. Philbee lived in Fort Wayne 25 years. He was a retired machinest at Bowser, Inc. Surviving are four sons, Charles, James and Theodore of Fort Wayne, and Paul, in Kentucky; two daughters, Mrs. Leah Anthony and Mrs. Irene Rohr, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, Walter, Laura, Ill; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at Tom Mungovan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at a time to be announced later.
