| Note* | Arthur David Devonshire Richard and his siblings called him "Uncle Bill". Says he was married, had no kids, wife committed suicide. Family obituaries show him in the US Navy in Jan. 1943, and in Pasadena in Feb. 1948 - Jan. 1950. Funeral services were at Turner & Stevens Mortuary Chapel conducted by Arden L. Bennett. He is buried at Mountain View Cemetery in the Devonshire family plot # 7/2770 M. (6K). Name and birthdate verified in mother's will. His address was U.S. Navy, U.S. Ship Surprise, c/o Postmaster, New York City, N.Y. at the time the probate notice was mailed.
