Her uncited obituary states that she was 75 years old when died at her home 1004 E. Ash St., after an extended illness though seriously ill only six days.
A handwritten note on Richard Jackson's family group sheet: "Elizabeth smoked a pipe but was very self consious about it and kept it hidden in her dress pocket. When she wanted to smoke she would slip outside quietly."
