Marriage*circa 1752 Maria Veronica Kimmel married Georg Ludwig Kaffenberger circa 1752; since she came with her family, the implication is that they met on the ship and married after arrival.
(MentionedIn) Probate10 January 1769 Was mentioned in a probate of Johann Valentine Kimmel on 10 January 1769 at Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, "Fronica the wife of Ludwick Kauffenberger"; Administrative papers were granted to son Philip per Lancaster County Intestate Record Book 2 pg 42. Per Lancaster County Orphans Court record Book 1768-1772 pg 175, Philip filed the administrator's account for his father's estate on 6 Mar 1770 and reported a balance of 47 pounds 14 shillings and 10 pence available for distribution. The amount was distributed among Valentine's six children (named, with spouses). The inventory is in Lancaster County Historical Society Archves, inventory file, original document.3
Source*26 August 1812 Source: Referred to as Fanny in husband's will. on 26 August 1812.
Death*before 23 July 1813 Maria Veronica Kimmel died before 23 July 1813; She evidently died before July 1813 because in her husband's estate there is an entry of July 23 that year for "paid John Hooper for a coffin for the widow" then Oct 11 "paid Elizabeth Smith for attendance on the widow making her burying clothes"
Book says age 116 at death but that makes them too old for logical childbearing in 1750's & 1760's.4
Burial* She was buried at Probably Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., West Virginia.

Family

Georg Ludwig Kaffenberger
Marriage*circa 1752 She married Georg Ludwig Kaffenberger circa 1752; since she came with her family, the implication is that they met on the ship and married after arrival.
