Marriage*circa 1752 Georg Ludwig Kaffenberger married Maria Veronica Kimmel, daughter of Johann Valentine Kimmel and Anna Maria Beltzer, circa 1752; since she came with her family, the implication is that they met on the ship and married after arrival. 
(MentionedIn) Probate10 January 1769 Was mentioned in a probate of Johann Valentine Kimmel on 10 January 1769 at Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, as Ludwick Kauffenberger; Administrative papers were granted to son Philip per Lancaster County Intestate Record Book 2 pg 42. Per Lancaster County Orphans Court record Book 1768-1772 pg 175, Philip filed the administrator's account for his father's estate on 6 Mar 1770 and reported a balance of 47 pounds 14 shillings and 10 pence available for distribution. The amount was distributed among Valentine's six children (named, with spouses). The inventory is in Lancaster County Historical Society Archves, inventory file, original document.2
