Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Boone, 81, who passed away January 5th were held Tuesday at Angeles Abbey Chapel and interment followed at the Mauseum. Mr Boone passed away at a rest home in Torrance where he had been ill for some time. He had lived in California for the last 53 years and had been employed by Los Angeles City in San Pedro for 17 years until three years ago when he retired. Rev. William Darsie of San Pedro officiated at the funeral which was in charge of the A.M. Gamby Mortuary in Lomita. He leaves two sons, Howard C. of Washington, and Alfred D of Downey, California, along with two daughters, Mrs Margaret Fitzgerald of 2103 235th Street, Lomita, with whom he had lived, and Mrs. Alpha Tipton of Whittier. |
