"There came with Mr Clark his father-in-law, Isham Edwards, a Campbellite preacher, with his three sons, Josiah, Talbott and John. These all settled near by, but soon moved away to the Platte Purchase. John Edwards' wife died and two sons were left to the care of Mr and Mrs Clark. These were Jake and Jack Edwards, who were well known here a few years ago, but are now in the west. Josiah Edwards married Pamelia Westfall in the spring of 1836. This was the first wedding in Yellow Spring township". | |
