     Alvin B. Kenper, 86, of Route 7, died at 4:45 p.m. yesterday at Boone County Hospital where he had been since Sept. 8.
     A lifelong resident of Boone County, Kemper was born Jan. 27, 1877, to Tillman and Sallie Bratton Kemper. On Sept. 18, 1901, he was married to the former Miss Myrtle Wade who survives. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Rocky Fork Primitive Baptist Church.
     Other survivors include two sons, Boyd Kemper of St. Louis and Floyd Kemper of 908 N 8th St; a brother, George Kemper of Columbia; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Parker's Chapel with Elder Atley Sapp and Elder Haskel Wren officiating. Pallbearers will be Tilford Goslin, Wilford Stone, Dewey Kemper, Cless Kemper, Smith Kemper and Glenn Kemper, all nephews of Kemper. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
     The body will be at Parker's until time for burial.
