Foley-Rippeto Marriage Climaxes June Rites
As a record number of weddings brought the June bridal parade to a close yesterday, Miss Mildred Victoria Reppeto and Hugh R. Foley were united in marriage in one of the season's loveliest ceremonies.
     The date marked the 25th anniversary of the bridegroom's parents, Mr and Mrs Louis F. Foley of 2140 Outpost Dr, and the 30th wedding anniversary of his aunt, Mrs George Jennings, who arrived from her home in Ralston, NJ, to attend the wedding which took place by candlelight last night in the Arlington Christian Church.
     Dr Steward P. MacLennan, pastor of the Hollywood First Presbyterian Church, read the rites in the presence of more than 200 guests.
     The bride, daughter of Mr & Mrs Floyd W. Rippeto of 1123 Formosa Ave, was lovely in a gouwn of white net over satin. It was fashioned with a long train, high neck, short puffed sleeves and a very full skirt ornamented with satin applique. A three-tired tulle veil was held by a cap of shirred tulle and orange blossoms. The bridal bouquet was a shower of lilies of the valley, white orchids and bouvardia.
     Miss Barbara Johnson, the maid of honor, wore an ice blue gown of net over taffeta, made with a full skirt trimmed with medallions of ruffles. She wore a doll hat of blue ruffles and carried pink briarcliffe roses. The bridesmaids, Misses Frances Rippeto, Velma Rippeto, Gerry McClurkin, and Ethel Edwards, were gowned like Miss Johnson except that their frocks were pink.
     Little Marilyn Hubbard, the flower girl, wore white net over taffeta and carried a basket of pink and blue flowers.
     John Camphouse served as best man. Ushers were James Ferguson, Richard Woods, Donald Crossman, Harold Sullwold, Lester Gautier, and John Sinclair.
     A garden reception followed at the home of the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr and Mrs Harold N. Hubbard, at 721 Alta Vista Blvd.
     The young couple will be at home in Hollywood Aug 1 after a motor trip to Canada.
     Mrs Foley is a graduate of Hollywood High School and the University of California at Los Angeles, where she was affiliated with the Alpha Areta sorority. Her hisband is a graduate of Hollywood High School, where his father is pricipal, and of Stanford University. He is a member of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity.
