It was mentioned by a Harriet's daughter Bessie (when she was in her 80s) that her grandfather was John Griffin and Mary (Coens or Cayns) and that they were from Mississippi or wherever the Trail Tears began. She wasn't certain of the exact state OR the spelling of Mary Coens name. |
