Note*16 February 1941 He Completing his fourth year in the Navy. Roy is the same age as Doug - we adopted him when he was a small boy and we are very proud of him. He has been stationed at Pearl Harbor T. H. for three years on the USS Porter - a destroyer. Just now his ship is at Moss Island and he is on a brief furlo at home. The ship returns on the 22nd to Pearl Harbor. on 16 February 1941.1
