Snow Hubbard and his wife Laura A Hubbard of Montague Co TX sold for "$848 paid and secured to be paid by as follows $724.66 cash and his agreement to pay off & fully discharge w note made by L A Hubbard 10 May 1884 due 10 May 1885 for the sum of 453.33 with (unreadable word) interest from data have granted... that certain tract of land viz: Blocks Nos1, 8, 9, 15, 16, all of Block No 2 except 4 lots to wit 10, 20, 21, & 22, all of Block No 7 except Lots Nos 12 & 20, Lots Nos 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 21 in Block No 10 I16?), one other Lot in said Block, to wit, beginning at the NW corner thence S 120 ft then E 25 ft, thence W 120 ft, then W 25 ft to beginning being Lot No 22, all of the above described property situated in the town of Queen Peak and described according to the plot of said town. Also the following property Blocks No 17 of (Sessmms?) addition to said town of Queens Peak also beginning at the NE corner of said Blocks thence N 14 yds to place of beinging, also the following property beginning at Coffman's NW cor runing 20 ft south thence & opposite to his NE cor then W to place of beginning adjoining town of Queens Peak."      "... We, Snow Hubbard and wife L A Hubbard heirs at law of Socrates Hubbard & wife S R S Hubbard both deceased ..." sold for $100 to J H Matthews, Lot 15 Block 40 of Cowan Addition to Bowie. An undivided 1/6 interest to said lot, the balance being held by the 5 children of said Socrates Hubbard and wife S R S Hubbard both deceased.
