     Mrs Laura L. Rippeto, 73, a resident of Los Angeles for many years, and grandmother of Clarence Rippeto, circulation manager of the Citizen-News, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs Clara M. Jones, 4837 Oakwood Ave.
     Born in Boone County, Missouri, Mrs Rippeto had made her home here for the past 30 years, and had been active as a member of The Primitive Baptist Church. She and her husband, L.W. Rippeto, who has been associated with the real estate and insurance business here for a long time, had married 54 years.
     In addition to her husband and her daughter, with whom she made her home, Mrs Rippeto leaves a son, Floyd W. Rippeto, and three other daughters, Mrs Claudia Wright, Mrs Lily Grooms, and Mrs May Kelley.
     The body is at the W.A. Brown Mortuary. No funeral arrangements have been made.

Last Rite Helf for Mrs Laura Rippeto
     Last rites for Mrs Laura Lee Rippeto, 71, a resident of Los Angeles for 30 years, who died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs Clara M. Jones, 4837 Oakwood Ave, were conducted today at the W.A. Brown Mortuary, 1815 S Flower St. Interment was made in the Oddfellows Cemetery.
     Pallbearers were Clarence Rippeto, circulation manager of the Citizen-News, Thurman Rippetoe, Robert Batterton, Harold Kelley, "Buster" Grooms, and "Buddy Jones", all grandsons of the deceased.
     Honorary pallbearers included J.C. Rogers, David VanMeter, John H. Brown, Clyde Long, Ford Bogart, Leon High, Deacon Deen, Charles Deen, D.W. Mavity, Levi Rice, Frank Smith, John Schmidt, J.L. Pentacost, and G.A. Dundas.
     In addition to her daughter, Mrs Jones, and her grandchildren, Mrs Rippeto is survived by her husband L.W. Rippeto; a son, Floyd W. Rippeto, and three other daughters, Mrs Claudia Wright, Mrs Lily Grooms, and Mrs May Kelley. 
Burial* She was buried at Oddfellows Cemetery 3640 Whittier Blvd, Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.
