Note*16 February 1941 He Twenty two years old, doing graduate work at Texas A&M in the Fish and Game Department. Doug is somewhat "up in the air". He has an assistantship at A&M and will not be able to complete all the course requirements for his Master's Degree in this acccount. If he finds after July 1st that his will soon be drafted, he will probably volunteer. In that case he will not be able to finish his work at A&M unti after his year of service. on 16 February 1941.2

Hubbard was a career National Park employee and I believe he is still living in Fredericksburg Tx, where his last position was as curator of the Admiral Chester Nimitz museum before he retired.
