Note* William Crossthwaite (Peruke-maker/Library) M E Wood states in 4 Jun 1930 letter that "The William Crossthwaite who married Hannah Ward in 1725 had no children." However, later in the same letter she says that William the peruke maker had two children, John & Sarah. Did the first statement just mean that he had no children by Hannah?1
