| Note* | Joseph Henry Stoneking At the time of his sister Mary's death in 1933 he was living in Chicago. He was listed as one of her pall bearers Death/Burial date, burial place from Alice Derry letter 12 June 1995. She says he is buried at the Stoneking cemetery. Rose Compton's letter 5 July 1995 states that he used to live in Palatine, IL. Ev #165:He was raised according to (his sister) Alice by "my grandma Stoneking" (Mary Ellen). His daughter Sue Ellen's middle name is for Mary Ellen. He was cremated but not buried right away. He lived in Clearwater Florida until after his wife died and he had been in a nursing home there for 3-4 years until his children moved him to a nursing home in West Chicago where they were. He died there and his family was with him when he passed away. Confirmed as surviving son, living in Palatine, IL in Zebedee Stoneking's 1968 obituary. | |
