| Note* | Cecilla Tuggle In a letter from Alice Derry dated 10 Jan 1981, she states that they (she and her brother Jo who work on the genealogy together) know that Cecila is the daughter of John Tuggle born in Fluvanna Co. VA. They believe that their line is traced in a book entitled Tuggle Family by Ann Sawyer. If this is the fact however then Cecila was either missed or under a different name. See handwritten pedigree charts copied from her letter which was copied from this book. In Alice Derry's letter (10 Jan 1981), she also mentions that Cecila is buried by her father at Gibson Cemetery. Also that she married a man named Herny and had a couple of boys before she married Levi Compton. | |
