Obituary Notes: Died in McDonough District Hospital. He raised his nephew, James Stoneking, who was living in Alabama in 1997. He served in the Army during WWII. he worked for 25 years at Amatex in East Moline. He was a member of the Macomb American Legion Post 6 and Macomb VFW Post 1921. Surviving also: 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. His wife/mother of his children was not named in his obituary. Richard Jackson's family group sheet lists his wife as Phyliss Clayton (no proof yet).
