Census18801880 He appeared on the 1880 census as the head of household, ED 286 pg 20d #169-171, St Charles, Winona Co., Minnesota, Campbell, Fred 43 b.VT ___ lumber yard.
Also living with them is Campbell, Ella 15 b.VT listed as daughter - but there is no other indication of a daughter, and they were in WI when Ella was born.

Residence He lived; He was in Long Beach for 2 years prior to his death. 
Death*19 January 1905 He died on 19 January 1905 at Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 68; Death certificate says he was born in Vermont, and died at Long Beach, 62 Lime Ave, where he was resident for 2 years. The informant was Dr George E Campbell.1,2,6 
Burial* He was buried at Mt View Cemetery, Altadena, Los Angeles Co., California; He was cremated at Evergreen, with ashes and memorial at Mt View.
