| Note* | | JV Thompson Journals vol. 7, p. 144-145, vol. 16, p. 52-53; vol. 20, p. 456 Helen Wetnight, 365 Holly Hill Road, Oldsmar, FL 34677who cites a handwritten 9 page document prepared by Katherine Mayes Thompson states he was apprenticed to Robert wilson, dyer, from which apprenticeship he was released in 1709. He emigrated to Lancaster Co., PA about 1733 & had warrants to land Sept 10, 1736 & Dec 6, 1738. He removed to Cumberland Co., PA which was organized Jan 27, 1750 & died there aged 88 years where his oldest son, Isaac, administered on his estate. |
