Military*1775 He was in the military in 1775 General Society, Sons of the Revolution application of Wilfred Keefer Barnard says that "William Trowbridge was a Private in Capt. Timothy Begelow's Company of 'Minute Men' who went out on the 'alarm' April 19, 1775. Private in Capt. Jonas Hubbard's Co. Private in Col. Thomas Craft's regiment of artillery. He was 16yrs. of age when he first enlisted. Authority: From early town records, Worcester, Mass, and from a book 'Old Burial Grounds' issued by the Worcester Society of Antiquities for the year 1877, p.114. Copies of records certified to by E.H. Towne, City Clerk, Worcester, Mass., 1896."2 
Marriage*12 December 1777 He married Sarah Rice on 12 December 1777 at Worcester, Worcester Co., Massachusetts; (there is also a Betty Trowbridge who married Josiah Rice 1 Sep 1778 - possible siblings of these two?)3 
Death*30 September 1833 William Trowbridge died on 30 September 1833 at Worcester, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, at age 82.
