| (MentionedIn) Obituary | Fannie B Lindeman is mentioned in the obituary of Mary "Nancy" Lindeman as sister Mrs Henry Heisey of Manor township; Death of Mrs Mary Book. Mrs Mary Book, nee Lindeman, died at the home of her son J L Book, with whom she resided at the time of her death, which was due to old age and general debility. Deceased was in her seventy-ninth year. Her husband David Book, died seven years ago. She is survived by three sisters and one brother, as follows: Mrs Elias Book, Abilene Kansas; Mrs Henry Heisey, and Anna, of Manor township, and Jacob B Lindeman, residing on the Willow street turnpike. There are five sons living as follows: Adam, Abraham, and Samuel of Dickinson county, Kansas; David, of Thoms Oklahoma, and John with whom she resided. Services were held at the house at 9:30 o'clock on Wednesday morning with burial at Masonville. The clipping on FindAGrave has a caption: This undocumented obituary came from an old privately owned scrapbook of Marietta area residents. These were published in a Marietta weekly, which changed names over the years, so it might be from the "Marietta Register", The Mariettan" or the "Marietta Times", all of which are non-existent today. My own note, those papers didn't exist in 1905 either.3 | |
